Hi, I’m Beth Shindler.
For a long time, I thought being healthy meant looking healthy.
I exercised. I stayed active. I paid attention to what I ate. From the outside, I looked like someone who had her health figured out.
But I eventually learned that looking healthy on the outside doesn’t always tell you what’s happening on the inside.
My own health journey made me start paying closer attention—to my energy, how I felt, changes in my body, my health history, and the signals that are easy to dismiss when life is busy. I became fascinated by the difference between simply appearing healthy and actually understanding what supports our bodies over the long term.
That curiosity turned into studying nutrition, movement, strength, sleep, stress, recovery, healthy aging, and the ways our everyday choices work together. I became a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Nutrition Coach, and Health Coach—but more importantly, I developed a completely different relationship with health.
I stopped seeing wellness as a collection of workouts, diets, supplements, or numbers on a scale.
I started seeing the whole picture.
That perspective became The Designed Life Wellness Co.
Today, I help women better understand their health, recognize the patterns that may be influencing how they feel, build strength, nourish their bodies, prioritize recovery, and create sustainable habits that fit into their actual lives.
I don't believe wellness should become another full-time job. I don't believe in chasing perfection or trying to optimize every minute of the day. And I don't believe that looking healthy is the same thing as feeling healthy.
I believe in knowing your body, being curious when something changes, building strong foundations, and making intentional choices that support both how you feel today and the life you want to be living years from now.
Because ultimately, the goal is to build a level of health that allows you to fully live your life.
My Approach
Your health is a whole picture. Your approach to it should be, too.
The Designed Life approach looks beyond a single workout, meal plan, supplement, symptom, or number. Instead, I look at the interconnected areas that influence how you feel and function, then help you identify what deserves your attention now and build from there.
Know your body. Nourish it well. Move with purpose. Restore intentionally. Optimize thoughtfully. Design a life your health allows you to fully live.
